6th grade visits Dansgarður Dance Center

6th grade students visited Dansgarður Dance Center.

 

During the visit, students rotated through three stations focused on dance performance, dance composition and dance literacy. Dansgarður staff taught the group about different dance approaches, methods for composing dance and how to use various environmental elements for self-expression through dance.

 

The students participated in various dance activities together and ended the day by performing original dances in small groups, applying the techniques they had learned from the staff.

 

The visit was extremely successful and thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
