The Big Read-Aloud Contest

Excitement filled Sæmundarskóli last Friday during the school's celebration for The Big Read-Aloud Contest. Twelve outstanding 7th graders took the stage to compete in polished oral reading. They had spent weeks in intensive preparation, and their moment to shine had finally arrived. Every single one performed like a champion, and we could not be prouder!

 

Sigurbjörg María Leifsdóttir and Sævar Hrafn Garðarsson advanced and will represent the school in The Big Read-Aloud Contest on Thursday, April 22nd Yrsa Unnarsdóttir will serve as their alternate.
